As I indicated in another area, the company suffers low moral unless you are in management. If you belong in claims, clerical or underwriting be prepared to be content with having personal satisfaction only.
Weak management style amongst supervisors and upper management. Extreme cases of micromanagement and low level decisions need approval from multiple levels of hierarchy.
If you are looking for a team environment or positive backing from management, this may not be the best fit.
This company is based on micromanagement. The workload is distributed in a fair manner however the manner in which files are to be worked are not structured for individual success.
Meetings are held to discuss "numbers" and "goals". There is minimal direction on what changes need to be made in order to reach the desired figures. There is a disconnect between upper and mid level management.
Not very much movement
Do some research here. Benefits are good however the salary is not competitive compared to other companies within the same geographical area
Software for claims system has just been updated to what the competitive companies have been using for the past 10 years. Aside from that equipment and the facilities are current.
Weekends are off and all major holidays are observed. Taking work home is not an acceptable practice
Do your research. The company is highly focused on its customers which is great. Unfortunately it's at the cost of its employees. After 8 years of service I witnessed low moral throughout most of the departments
Unfortunately adjusters are an expendable commodity. Other positions appear to have a higher level of security such as IT, management and facility maintenanance
As an adjuster there are minimal proud moments. Management does not reward or recognize achievements on a regular basis. Job security is considered your reward.
Upper management is very set in their methods. This company are not leaders in the industry more so followers of the competitions success.
Poor management style and low company morale
