Suggestions for improvement
- The only thing I would change about Mercy is what they pay people. I think when you get a raise it should be higher than what we get. Each person should be judged individually and given a raise based on their production. There should be around $1 per hour if your production is above what is expected, but if your production is right at what it should be maybe $0.50 per hour..
What I like about the company
up until Mercy I had employers who always criticized about production when there were things I could have done better on. With Mercy they offered to work with you to find a better way to improve your production, if needed. I love working for Mercy. I feel like I really make a difference in our patients and coworkers lives everyday. I love what I do and always recommend mercy as a great employer for everyone! The thing that I love the most is that you can apply for positions that you may not have a whole lot of experience in because Mercy will train you. There is a great chance for advancement throughout Mercy and there's a variety of shifts offered to accommodate a coworker's life.
What I dislike about the company
When I started working for Mercy 8 years ago we were given a cost of living increase. We have not seen that in over 8 years and I wish Mercy would review the cost of living and give us raises accordingly. I do also think that raises should be based on what each individual employee does and should be more than what they give.
