- Mercy Regional EMS24.Nov 2015
Military style pecking order. They promote off of who is most like them not by seniority or who can bring positive change.
Support from management
They will tell you to do it one way and then change their mind and expect you to know how they want it on anything and everything.
The want a specific type of person and if you aren't that person you won't be happy there.
They will and have removed senior workers from their supervisor positions and place people in their place to promote their agenda.
Overall compensation for your work
They pay the lowest of all surrounding EMS agencies but are competitive with benefits.
If they are they don't show it.
They monitor your every social media move. The hours are long 24 hour shifts. They will send you on a 8 hour transfer at 3am for a non emergency transfer.
This company cares more about how they are perceived than anything else.
They do work with you on something's but they make sure to note at the end of every protocol that any deviation is a firable offense. You have no real safety net.
You will run a minimum of 10 calls a day and be expected to have all of your reports done before your shift is over. They say you have 24 hours to finish them and that you should finish your reports before you go to bed but they will send you on an out of town transfer in the mild of the night and expect you to be rested to do so.
Inclusive / Diverse
They want you involved in everything but they want you to be who they want you to be.
