Management tends to coddle the lazy workers
No career development unless you are liked by the manager. When 5he manager likes you then you will go far but when he does not like you then you will not advance regardless of your skillset.
Suggestions for improvement
- Middle and lower management need more training.

Lower and middle management is not fair
The manager cares more about his image than properly doing his job.
