Current morale at the airline for frontline employees is pretty low. The compensation is below industry standards.
Suggestions for improvement
- A complete overhaul of management structure. Raise the hiring age. Remove individuals who do not perform during probation period instead of blurring the finish line.
What I like about the company
It's been challenging but because of the job security and easy upward movement, I've remained. We employ some great people that become more like family but they are poorly managed and even more poorly compensated. Mesa is a great stepping stone but don't put down roots.
What I dislike about the company
There needs to be accountability for those who do not adhere to policies and standards and more reward for those who do. Compensation needs to be so that employees can enjoy a healthy home/work life balance.
