I think corporate provides the tools and anticipates that every franchise will adopt company mission, value, ethics, expectations and goals, but this store did not seem to do that in my situation.
Support from management
At first, the managing partner seemed to care, as time passed and veteran employees seemed to just take over and his input or instructions didn't matter.
Team members didn't seem to mind running food for other team members but were not at all helpful with running sidework, or interested in helping a new person with point of sale system if there were questions. Had to be a part of the clique to succeed at this restaurant.
Freedom to work independently
I felt like I was just thrown to the sharks, sink or swim.
I worked there for a short time, and in that time there wasn't any team meetings to relay successes or failures.
As far as I could see this was an equal playing field.
Attitude towards older colleagues
If 50 is considered senior, then yes. I am 51 and MP hired me
Office / Work Environment
Everything worked and properly and I didn't experience anything that was in dire need of repair.
The one time I needed to be off it was granted, I give this 3 stars because I don't know if I would have had any trouble asking for days off after this.
I was really excited to be employed here, coming from a company that I had worked for almost 5 years and no promotions or felt I was valuable, I had high hopes!

Suggestions for improvement
- Management needs to explain from the very beginning the steps of how new employees will be trained and maybe not put someone new in training on the busiest days, trainers do not have the time to explain in detail how the position is learned.
What I like about the company
I believe that corporate would like every store to establish and incorporate the company's mission but do not have their hand on the pulse of this store.
What I dislike about the company
I think that there are certain employees that have an impact and input on who and how the store is run.
