Suggestions for improvement
- fire all of the T-mobile management and hire back the MetroPCS people they laid off to run the company.
What I like about the company
MetroPCS USED TO BE a great company to work for. We had employer paid healthcare, 401K great pay with many additional perks like a 10% bonus and paid on-call and 15% night shift diffential. The management team was fantastic and we were informed about what the company was doing, with one exception, and that was how they sold us off.
What I dislike about the company
MetroPCS was bought by T-mobile. Completely opposite company as MetroPCS. I instantly lost $800-$1000 per month due to the poor wages at T-mobile. I kept my base pay however lost 50% of my on call pay and 80% of my night shift differential. I also had to start paying $90 per month for healthinsurance from United, which none of my Doctors accepted and 2 of the 3 of them had to sue to get payment for previous patients. We were lied to and had the company attempt to sneak in a non-compete clause in a small stock option grant that was so ridiculous it wouldn't even allow my wife to work at a Best buy. Their CEO is an absurd clown and lies his way to customer growth.
The company is so bad that half of their switch tech team in South Florida volunteered to be laid off when the announcement came down.
