There were some really great people, but also a lot of negativity and backstabbing.
Support from management
Expectations are unclear and requests are vague. You'll be told one thing and expected to do another.
No. Team members are encouraged to be suspicious of each other. Trust is not cultivated.
Freedom to work independently
No. You'll be micro-managed, but to make it seem like you're not you'll be coached on independence.
Too much interdepartmental bickering.
They have the same career opportunities but they aren't treated equally.
Overall compensation for your work
Office / Work Environment
Equipment and technology is up to date and cutting edge.
Committed to going green
You are expected to work while sick and will be punished for being sick. Enough said.
Easy work. Don't ask to be challenged unless you want several vague assignments that are impossible to finish.
Inclusive / Diverse
Suggestions for improvement
- Take a good look at the sick policy. You are encouraging employees to come to work sick, which does nothing but decrease productivity and spread illness. Take a good hard look at the people managing the "problem departments". You have good employees but bad managers in those departments.
What I like about the company
I was well trained when I started. The benefits and pay were great. Accomplishments were recognized among the subordinates.
What I dislike about the company
Having any kind of life outside work was looked down upon. People frequently showed up sick and spread their illness to co-workers. Way too much favoritism. Poor management in certain departments.
