- M.G. Maher & Company, Inc.01.Dec 2015
There is no workplace culture other than punching a clock and leaving as soon as closing time bell rings.
Support from management
There is absolutely no support from the upper management. They do not care about their employees and treat them as dispensable cogs in a machine.
There is an atmosphere of distrust within the rank and file employees. People are constantly looking over your shoulder.
Freedom to work independently
Employees are micromanaged and given no autonomy to actually pursue work place goals
There is no communication between the management and rank and file. This makes workplace gossip the only way to find anything out about upcoming changes.
There are absolutely no chances for career advancement in this company. While the company puts on a show of providing classes for certifications, the classes are woefully inadequate for anyone to actually pass the certification exams.
Overall compensation for your work
The pay is low and there are no real chances at advancement or pay raises.
Office / Work Environment
Computer system is ok.
Some employees attempt to do charity work and donation drives.
Everyone leaves at end of day and does not care about the work left at the desk. However, you are made to feel guilty about taking any vacation or personal time.
Everyone in the city who is in this industry knows about how the people at this company feel about it.
If you're willing to keep your head down and never ask any questions, you'll have a job there for life.
The office is safe.
What I like about the company
Absolutely nothing at all
What I dislike about the company
The management of this company simply does not care about their employees. They view them as interchangeable and dispensable. If you are unhappy or quit, this does not deter them at all. They will simply hire someone else. The turnover in this company is incredible.
