Suggestions for improvement
- Get rid of the stodgy upper management. New owners have taken over, but the same upper management people still run things...small-minded engineers who cannot grasp a strategic plan.
I like about the employer
I used to work with a great group of people, and we worked hard for the company. You would not find a more loyal group of people. Most of us wanted to spend our entire career there.
I dislike about the employer
The bean counters took over, and anyone who was no fully utilized, no matter how valuable their contributions, was laid off in a series of layoffs. These were handled badly, appeared to be random, and almost all of the quality people are gone. This company cannot see the big picture. They want to be "a billion dollar company" but have no idea why or how to get there. Ten years after that objective was set, they still have approximately the same number of employees, same number of offices, and revenue still has not met targets.
