Not all progressive. Discriminatory and unfriendly
Support from management
Management are like coal mine bosses. They run the place like a coal mine. The place has double standards and most of what management says or does is a BIG pack of lies
Team work exists only among people of same color
Freedom to work independently
Does not exist
Communication from management is full of double standard.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Age does not matter when it comes to abuse. It's a horrible place. If you are older, you are best not to bother mingling because they keep wanting to know how old you are so they can distance away from you or mock you
Develop toward what? Management? Are you white? If not, do not apply. Just dig in the hole and make sure they do not bayonet you
Office / Work Environment
Its like working at a fish market. Noisy and stinks
Ecology does not exist here. Only leather handbag sales does. How can one talk of ecology when the company lives by products made from slaughter
Wish there was a possibility for a negative number to be ascribed here. Nothing is sacrosanct at this place. Not evening, not weekends, not vacations. Your are tethered to your whatsapp on the phone and forever on call. Not even thanksgiving is sacred for these brutes. Thanksgiving has a travel freeze so you are on call and on hold for everything but to ensure watchfullness of his holiness the Dalai Lama of luxury apparel - Mr. Michael Kors
Only because teenage girls and women like handbags does this company have an image.
Not sure what this means. Am i in a building? Yes. Am i in a floor with other people? Yes. Do I have protection from ugly stares and know that there is subtle racism. oh yeah!
Sometimes it is. But not very interesting though.
Inclusive / Diverse
It's a joke. Inclusiveness is such a racist approach. Inclusiveness is a byword for how useful you are, not how racially diverse you are
Suggestions for improvement
- Be fair. Do not make false promises and not keep it up. As a $5 billion company, show some charity toward those folks who are working their fingers to the bone for you. The bonuses only exist for directors and above. There is nothing other than base pay. No incentive to work hard and the annual rises do not exceed 3% of base. The IT director position of this company is jinxed. They are the worst of human beings I've ever met in the business.
What I like about the company
Not sure anymore. The last week in December is off. That's nice. Most major US holidays also come with Fri/Mon off. That's nice too
What I dislike about the company
Lack of opportunity to grow. It is not racially diverse. Most sadly the white crowd are unfriendly for the most part but there are some nice folk as well. There is no opportunity in management or scaling up. Its a freeze when it comes to moving up but most sadly again, there is much opportunity for the white folks to move up and they frequently do.
