As a replenishment team member, the only support there is as a "team" is one to two days a week (during truck process). Expect to work independently with little to no support. Due to "scheduling" and planogram resets, tend to set a the tone for hours, can also set a negative trend for the word "team" when one person is scheduled to complete such tasks for the entire week.
The male to female ratio is absolutely horrible. At this location there are only three male employees, that's including the Store Manager. There have been moments when basic store needs (i.e. cleaning, lifting a box, climbing a ladder to assist a customer, taking out the trash etc.) may feel subjugated to the male co workers only because of the lack of male team members to assist and/or the lack of initiative to execute such basic needs from female employees.
Overall compensation for your work
With major experience within the retail field you may NOT expect compensation based on such experience.
Team members are very friendly and nice. Not many managers can be the same.
Day to day execution is not challenging. Scheduling, lack of staff, and time/hours make "easy" tasks challenging to complete.
Inclusive / Diverse
Not many people of color/diverse backgrounds at this particular location.
Suggestions for improvement
- Compensate accordingly to those individuals who are and have the experience/ed necessary to provide great results for the business.
