Suggestions for improvement
- We significantly "vet" all outside companies that bring technology into our environment, but we take a long time to make a decision and can definitely work on allowing all teams to evaluate the use of a vendor.
What I like about the company
In my almost 3 years working for Michigan Medicine, I have had the opportunity to work with many teams and learn more about what makes Michigan Medicine the great company it is. There are many areas where we can grow, but we are a continuous improvement organization, so I believe that any shortcomings we have now, we will work to make better.
What I dislike about the company
There are quite a few silos withing each group and we can definitely improve on utilizing more "enterprise" grade applications versus ones that are developed "in-house". There are systems that can be improved to work better for the customer.
