Microsoft is a good company to work for. Satya has done wonderful things to turn around the culture.

EmployeeWorked at Microsoft in Redmond, WA at the time of review.

What I like

Recently I moved to the team working on SharePoint. They have done a wonderful job of bringing me up to speed and being inclusive.

What I dislike

While the benefits are good, they are not top of industry great. Several benefits are offering the same dollar coverage as they did 5-10 years ago, even though inflation have forced prices to go up.

Suggestions for improvement

I would stop this plan of open workspaces. Plenty of engineers do not want this to happen.I would significantly increase support of alternate work arrangements, including working from home and alternative hours.
