Absolutely zero trust between executive management and everyone else.
Support from management
Revolving door of executives that can't live up to the expectations of an egotistical CEO that values none of his employees or their work.
Communication and teamwork is encouraged, but rarely followed through with.
Freedom to work independently
Zero work life balance. If you question your workload you most certainly will not get additional resources or be considered for promotions.
The company is very proud to announce that cost were low and profits high due to 20% layoff and 30% leaving on their own.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Overall compensation for your work
If you can bite your tongue and not question the chaotic daily grind, work 60 or more hrs, you may just one day move of the ladder.
Great vacation package, but if you are management or above the expectation is that you are available even when on vacation. Also expected to work 60 plus hrs a week.
Zero trust and major disconnect to what is projected and what is reality.
Every 2 years this is now the routine. Plus, the constant threat of now having your job outsourced to Poland.
The work is challenging, but requirements and needs change so often that it's rare to see projects completed your used for any real value.
Suggestions for improvement
- The CEO needs to trust his employees and managers to make decisions and lead. Learn from your mistakes and don't repeat them.
What I like about the company
The pay is above average for other comparable jobs and tech companies.
What I dislike about the company
Everything. The constant change and lack or real any leader, make this more of a 26 yr old startup and not the mid market billion dollar company the CEO has promised for the last 10 years.
