If you are a school bus driver, be prepared to to deal with some pretty tough kids is all I can say.
Well, they try, but you know how that goes.
Suggestions for improvement
- They could hire FT bus monitors on each route (especially the problem ones), and take the load off of the driver. The driver has way too much work load just driving safely! and better driver compensation may just make people stick around longer! (high turnover!)
What I like about the company
The family just got taken over by a Canadian company. New management, the works. They purchased all new (or nearly new) buses.
What I dislike about the company
When I was there, their maintanance crew was sub-par, but then so where the old buses they had. Maybe with the new mgmt things have changed?! Also their bus yards could be improved from muddy/gravel/wet to paved/covered/dry! Add brighter lighting (solar?) so pre-/post-tripping is not in the dark!
