Support from management
The owner does not possess "Business Sense" and is extremely unaware of how an actual restaurant is supposed to run.
Teamwork is non existent, and unrealistic expectations of the employees performance runs rampant.
Freedom to work independently
The owner does not take advice, nor understands the meaning of fair.
Communication is only done through screaming and abrasive behavior.
Overall compensation for your work
The only benefit offered was a week of paid vacation after one year. Although, this was paid for by the owner keeping all tips paid to employees by customers.
Office / Work Environment
equipment is poorly maintained, or does not work at all. It is a food establishment, though proper food handling procedures are non existent.
Employees were forced to work overtime, without overtime pay. Documentation was altered or destroyed to hide this fact.
Do to the unfair amount of work expected without pay and terrible working conditions, many employees had poor quality of life.
The job itself should not have been challenging, but do to the work environment, all things regarding this place was a challenge.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diverse, but not in a positive way. The owner would hire anyone who applied do to high turnover.
