General employees are friendly but management/HR plays favorites. They also take their personal feelings out on subordinates.
Colleagues work together to a certain extent thought there's always those ones that do not pull their weight. If you point it out to them, no matter how politely, they will complain to HR.
Freedom to work independently
You are only trusted to work independently after a long period of proving yourself.

They will send you to professional development classes, but never follow up on if you feel like it actually helped anything.
Overall compensation for your work
If you show them that you excel and take on additional responsibilities, it will take forever for you to see additional compensation. Yearly raises are almost always under 5% if you get one at all.

Suggestions for improvement

What I like about the company
The employees are friendly. They provide a decent amount of PTO & holidays off. Free bagels on Friday.
What I dislike about the company
HR & management play favorites. No research is done is someone makes a complaint, so anyone could say anything about you, true or not, and you can be fired for it.
