One of the few points that has more than 1 star. The company as a whole I believe is good, but every state is franchise owned and Oklahoma is one of the worst.
Support from management
Very little support of any kind from anyone and if anything goes wrong it will always be your fault.
Doesn’t really apply. Each office is separate and we rarely work together.
Freedom to work independently
You are always monitored and they have to know what you are doing and what you did throughout the day at all times
Communication is very poor. No one knows what’s going on most of the time, especially the administrator, and any changes made are only told on a need to know basis.
There were men and women in all roles
Attitude towards older colleagues
If you are good at selling then they will actually back you and get you trained to be a specialist. If after that you aren’t t meeting the quotas you are gone. No room to move up past that
Office / Work Environment
Depends on who you work with. We have specialists in each office that do the selling. If they are pleasant then it’s ok but if they are not then your life is hell
Ok I guess
I’ll give this one a 3 because if you’re the type of person who can separate life and work then this is ok. If you are the type that can’t say no and wants to bend over backwards to show off to the boss then that is exactly what they want. They will completely take advantage of you and have you working nights and weekends if it can get them more sales.
Like I said before the overall company is ok but Oklahoma franchise is awful
Unless you’re a specialist making them a lot of money you are completely expendable
Offices are pretty large for wheelchairs but there aren’t any ramps or bars
The work isn’t all that hard, there’s just so much of it to remember to do and if you forget any of it then you are in for it.
Inclusive / Diverse
I’m assuming they are, but no ethnicity worked for any of their offices while I was there. Our owner, however, is South American.
Suggestions for improvement
- A LOT of room for improvement. Owners shouldn’t be so greedy. It is wrong to take advantage of the elderly and that’s what they do every day. Treat your employees with respect and listen to them when they tell you there are problems. Just because a specialist can sell doesn’t mean they are good for your company if they treat people like garbage. Give employees benefits like insurance and raises
What I like about the company
My specialist in my particular office was great and made the bad days better. Talking to the other assistants on the phone was good support if you knew they had your back
What I dislike about the company
Most everything else. Expect you to lie to people to get them in the door and make sales. No insurance. Micro management. Always making marketing calls and sell sell sell. No one takes responsibility for their actions. No consistency.
