Suggestions for improvement
- More transparency in payment as opposed to the smoke & mirrors method currently used. Employee recognition for long hours worked would be appreciated. If you don't have happy employees, you won't be able to retain the good ones.
What I like about the company
There are always jobs available if you're willing to work long hours.
What I dislike about the company
No bonus for working holidays 8am-9pm. Automatic gratuity of 21% added to guest bill and "the house" takes 6% of that, leaving the server 15% that they must then tip out 3% of sales towards the bar and busser. Money is always "missing" in your paycheck as you do not get tipped out daily for credit card tips, as tips get paid in your biweekly paycheck. Constant new hires that you have to train, as people get disgusted with the nonsense and leave.
