MobyMax has huge goals - nothing short of taking over the way the world educates students.
Support from management
Definitely clear on the goals - make your numbers in the first 3 months or adios.
Everyone works remotely. There are brief daily Skype meetings.
Freedom to work independently
You are on your own.
Just enough to get you going.
It doesn't matter who you are, if you sell, you will be rewarded.
Attitude towards older colleagues
All ages welcome.
Sales management positions are available to the top producers.
Overall compensation for your work
Good base salary, plus commissions. No benefits, aside from working from your home office. I am not sure how the company gets away with not offering health insurance, as there are more than 50 full time employees.
Office / Work Environment
Everyone works from their home office. Very nice.
No one travels. Program is internet-based. Yeah, they are green!
You work when schools are in session. You get weekends off.
MobyMax has a good following in certain areas of the country.
It's up to you. Hit the numbers and you should feel safe. If you don't......
You work from home.
You work from home.
Yes, despite this being described as an "easy sale", it really depends on the quality of your leads. Veteran reps get layup leads, like renewals, while newbies are often calling on schools with very little usage.
Inclusive / Diverse
They are open to ideas, like lowering the commission structure. I guess it depends on who suggests ideas.
Suggestions for improvement
- Stop hiring more and more salespeople to work a limited number of leads. The current sales force is more than sufficient.
What I like about the company
Decent program, good salary, work from home
What I dislike about the company
It comes down to the quality of the leads (some get better leads than others)
The following benefits were offered to me
