There are some genuinely wonderful and talented people who work there.
Support from management
Management needs a lot of improvement in the communication department. Mistakes that were a result of a failure in communication were often treated as a personal failing for the employee involved. Verifiably false information was given to me by management on a couple of occasions. Micromanagement is also an issue.
Communication (especially pertaining to upper management) is a constant issue.
Office / Work Environment
There was no effective temperature control in any of the offices I worked in. Work conditions were routinely filthy and cobbled together.
Suggestions for improvement
- Make more of an effort to connect with employees (especially lower level ones) and listen to their concerns. Make sure that people's hard work is genuinely appreciated. Try to let go of some micromanaging tendencies.
What I like about the company
Lots of nice, talented people on staff. Interesting work occasionally.
What I dislike about the company
Very poor communication skills from management occasionally veering into outright dishonesty. Dirty and often uncomfortable work environments. Subpar compensation. General feeling like management doesn't care about employees.
