Suggestions for improvement
- There are some efforts to become a more diverse and inclusive, but it is still an overwhelmingly male dominated company. Offering additional training to women and minorities would not only diversity the company, but would also help them appeal to a wider client base. In an effort to be competitive with brick and mortar banks, they are expanding their banking products to the detriment of their core business model. They need to refocus on providing holistic financial advice, rather than pushing cash management.
What I like about the company
It is a team-based, collaborative atmosphere. Support staff frequently bounces ideas and best practice off one another, which takes stress off the individual. There are many opportunities to earn bonuses if you’re willing to put the work in.
What I dislike about the company
They are pushing to become a normal bank and put pressure on staff to sell banking products. This distracts from the main purpose of having a financial advising team.
