Lack of communication and lack of transparency have employees on high alert regarding job security. Feedback on job performance is nill if any. Growth or changes in the company are on as-needed basis and are only to those privy. Many people are unhappy with upper management and lack of leadership. There are a few members on the leadership committee that are awesome and have forward-thinking ideas, but they are typically squashed before any implentations/improvements can be made.
No career growth. As technology advances, so does the need to learn advances in software. However, any requests for seminars have been ignored. However, I am told sales training is quite good. I guess it depends on your department and your boss.
