- LISTEN to your employees. APPRECIATE the current staff, new or veteran, in every possible way. Without this, leads to employee dissatisfaction which trickles down to the patient dissatisfaction.

I dislike about the employer
Having worked for Beth Israel for more than 15 years, I felt that the leadership for the past 2-3 years, under Mount Sinai's takeover was inadequate in assessing the needs of the staff, especially to those who have been with Beth Israel for many years. I especially felt this within my particular department. I felt like the new leadership, from the administrator to the chairman of my department, was only looking for their own self gain and for the need to prove themselves Mount Sinai, the mother ship, at the expense of their employees' job satisfaction.
