The company has changed ownership several times and lacks leadership or a vision which affects a core culture.
Support from management
At employee meetings it was not a conducive environment to address or express concerns or ideas.
Some of the co-worker that have worked there for quite some time all had respect for other and had a mutual understanding how to work together without management supervision. If the right keywords persons were working as a team we were able to run a smooth operation with out management supervision.
Freedom to work independently
This was clearly based on favoritism often work schedules and job responsibilities did not fit the employees ability to perform that job which created a lot mistakes that affects the customer experience as a guest.
No there are never any evaluations or input as to work performance.
Equality for men and women was fair but favoritism still is majority.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Senior workers are used to fill in scheduling when others do not want to work .
There are some opportunities available to advance to different job titles with very little wage increase.
Overall compensation for your work
No benefits are offered ,no raises are offered.
Office / Work Environment
All working conditions for employees accommodations for guests is substandard.
No ,not even paid time off is a benefit. Asking for time off is frowned upon due to lack of schedule management.
Not much of a positive image about the work place is reflected by peers it is working in beautiful mountain scenery that is inspiring.
There is plenty of work most of the season, it depends on when new ownership changes it causes concerns about job stability.
Yes in my own my mind that is what keeps me motivated but I never expected praise from management only co-workers.
