Support from management
Bosses aren't in tune with what needs to be done to finish anything
other employees try to work to together since there is a lack of leadership from management.
we are not told anything.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Haven't had an evaluation or a raise in a few years and more complicated tasks are needed to be finished everyday.
Hiring from outside the company is usually done instead of moving people up that already work there.
Office / Work Environment
Its indoors, so there is heat and ac. I guess thats a plus
you get 10 days off that have to be accrued. these are used for sick days and vacation days.
Morale is pretty low most of the time.
Most days I come in I wonder if the building is going to be locked with a note on the door saying they are closed.
Most of the time you have to figure everything out for yourself. And if something is wrong engineering support is slim to none.
Suggestions for improvement
- New management who knows whats going on.
What I like about the company
N/A, its a job I guess. Its the only place within 70 miles that does this type of work.
What I dislike about the company
Lack of goals, pay raises, and opportunities to shine.
