Unfortunately the company culture is toxic and paranoid due to the employment revolving door
Support from management
In my opinion the failings of this organization come from poor, opaque leadership in which employees are initially led to believe they have input but in reality do not.
I had a great, dedicated team.
Overall compensation for your work
The compensation and benefits are average.
Office / Work Environment
Physically it's a wonderful place to work. But as a former president of the organization has said, "Well, it's a nice building...".
The irony of this organization is that they are very concerned with brand and image, however this concern is for surface, superficial things as opposed to the deeper , more important issues of treating employees fairly and community relations. It does seem too typical that so many organizations such as this one miss the importance of treating both external and internal customers equally and fairly.
There is absolutely no job security at this organization. Employment is a revolving door and many talented, dedicated people have been summarily dispatched.
The work was good!
Suggestions for improvement
- Stop the employment revolving door and the cronyism!
What I like about the company
The concept of the museum, the work and the team members
What I dislike about the company
The flawed implementation of the concept and lack of job security.
