Suggestions for improvement
- Keep better / realistic records during programs so that future programs can be scoped correctly. A number of the established senior management needs to be replaced with educated, knowledgeable and experienced TEAM players who will get it right. The result will be more successful execution of programs and more business.
I like about the employer
Nice coworkers, in spite of the working conditions.
I dislike about the employer
Very frustrating environment, especially if you are engaged in trying to make their business dynamic work. Senior management would often miss the mark on scoping out the projects, both from a cost and schedule perspective. It was the norm for middle and lower tier folks to work overtime, uncompensated to clean up the mess. The result was, that they would never really know to gauge projects and get the required man hour loading correct. The people who often caused the problems were very well compensated while others in the company were paid on a sub-standard rate.
