Company culture

Support from Management

Ruled with an iron fist from Albany New York. No one working at the IRB for guidance

None in evidence

Attitude towards older colleagues

Many older employees

Office/Work Environment

Tools to do the job are not readily available. Large facilities with one color printer and hidden scanners.

Workplace Safety

You are advised not to drink the water however company does not provide bottled water, or any water, coffee for employees. Kitchens are filthy. Microwaves are 30 years old and encrusted with food. Bathrooms are dirty

Company culture

Its a favorites game.

Support from Management

No on site support

Communication can be improved if management were more transparant and honest with work force.

Work-Life Balance

As with most companies, there is no work life balance.

Job security

Surprise! No job security unless you have a MD or PhD

Suggestions for improvement

  • Increase staffing so work projects are completed on time with excellent results. Remove old guard that does not believe in transparency, also remove director level employees that show favorites

Suggestions for improvement

  • Upgrade technology, listen to what employees need to do their jobs. Get rid of the bully culture (women). Director should be made aware of under culture run from outside the institute

I dislike about the employer

Job with so many tasks its really two jobs, micro management with supervisor who changes task performance daily so the employee is never finished/never right. Frustrating, not worth the effort. Effects morale.
