Interview was standard and there was an evaluation test. If you font have previous collection experience, don't worry they'll train you. Training was good and extensive, but as soon as I left training, I was told to forget everything I learned in training. It's a cut throat company that had no respect for the employees. I had accounts taken from me and given to another person to help them reach goal. You can wear whatever you want to. You have to have super tough skin to work at this place and you better make your quotas else you're out the door. If youre struggling in a area there is no help given and you get yelled at a lot. Co-workers can be nice and helpful, but watch your back with them. The pay was excellent $12.50/hr with uncapped commission and unlimited over-time, medical/dental, secondary life insurance, but the demeaning abuse you had to endure just isn't worth it.
Suggestions for improvement
- Treat your employees with the same amount of respect that you want given to you. Talking down to a person or making inappropriate comments doesn't get results and it not only brings down a person's self-esteem, it also brings down office morale. If they're struggling, don't yell instead help. We are people, not animals.
