Suggestions for improvement
- The entire company needs to be revamped; from it's outdated technology, overpriced service, managerial style, employee benefits. The only thing going for them is their health care--which is necessarily good because a very good portion of employees are older and have health issues. Depressing.
What I like about the company
There were very few surprises.
What I dislike about the company
Too many employees clearly finished learning how to use a computer in the late 1980s. The common complaint amongst younger employees (meaning 45 years and younger) is that the company is very outdated. It causes great amounts of inefficiency and wasted time. There's very little room for growth as most of management is fulfilled and most likely won't be changing for the next decade. As a result, employees are less motivated. It worsens during slow seasons when employees don't have as much work, don't feel appreciated enough to pitch in on other projects/ departments, and management expects everyone to sit in their chairs until 5pm regardless. Not a flexible work environment. A lot of catty type behavior among executives. Highest employee turnover rate of any place I have worked.
