Suggestions for improvement

  • Find a way for my department to have more opportunities likes main campus does (fitness center, Larger space, meditation sessions, etc. flexible schedules. Mixers for the whole company.

What I like about the company

It overall provides research for respiratory issues and works to ompoce quality of life for patients overall. HR is REALLY great, provides free flu shots and non-smoking company. The main campus has a in building gym, coffee bar, pool and other supports.

What I dislike about the company

Inflexible schedule. The Health Initiatives department is in a different location which makes many of the things on main campus inaccessible to us unless we drive or use mass transportation. The department takes FOREVER to respond, if at all, to employee ideas, suggestions or want for different opportunities. It’s a call center. I wish I knew more about what each department actually does and how it improves quality of life since all our department ever focuses on is helping participants quit tobacco

Suggestions for improvement

  • I wish that policies were upheld a little more fairly and uniformly. I also wish that employee appreciation was a little more special and not so cheaply done.

What I like about the company

We have a terrific management staff who support you. If you have an emergency or other urgent matter to attend to, they are very understanding and flexible.

What I dislike about the company

I wish they would communicate changes more effectively and pay a little more competitively. You only receive a raise once yearly and the max is 3%. That does not keep up with the cost of living.
