Toxic. Peresonal sniping rules the day.
Support from management
There is no real leadership or support. Expertise and experience are usually ignored. Decisions are made without input from people who know the work. Executive team members do not talk to each other and communicate through other staff.
There is no teamwork for organization-wide activities. Everyone works in a silo.
Freedom to work independently
There is none.
There is no regular communication or sharing of important information.
Female dominated. One VP will not hire a minority for a leadership position.
There is no opportunity for training or advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
Salraies are low.
Office / Work Environment
Adequate in some ways. However, technology is purchased on the cheap -- off the shelf rather than customized to fit real needs.
Individually, people are socially aware. There is no organizational commitment though.
Inconsistent. Some people are allowed to work from home on occasions; others are not. Some supervisors complain when their employees take leave that they have earned.
People talk favorably about the mission, but not the day-to-day work.
No stability or security.
The building meets ADA requirements.
Inadequate work stations.
Inclusive / Diverse
