My supervisor ignored conflict, i.e. expected employees to manage the conflict without management involvement, made unclear decisions-i.e changed directions concerning decisions already made multiple times. No employee involvement in decision -making process. lack of communication on all levels.
Colleagues treated workplace as a social ladder to be climbed. From top management on down it was clear that knowledge meant little, only friendship aided in promotions.

The lack of communication made it difficult to ascertain on any given day what the work load would be and who was responsible for it.
No, I was not informed about results, successes, or profits through regular meetings. I did not receive necessary information for my work until I discovered it by accident.

I was the senior front office clerk and was not supported, nor appreciated.
The career prospects at the company were non-existence, there were no criteria for professional advancement established, employees were not supported through further training and the company did not offer good opportunities for personal development.

The computer programs were not up to date on office equipment.
I was expected to stay until my account was finished for the day. During the peak season, I have worked 6 and 7 days a week with little acknowledgement.
I could do my job in my sleep. I was not allow to learn anything above my then current position.

- An employee handbook would help this company. A revised pay scale and perhaps an HR representative onsite at the Savannah Georgia location.
What I like about the company
Hindsight is 20/20. That being said I really did not like working for National Retail Transportation in any way after the first year.

Lack of communication concerning job duties and career opportunities.
