Suggestions for improvement
- A better work-life balance. Also, the amount of work that is wanted doesn't fit with the pay. If a department is consistently understaffed you can't expect everything to get done within normal hours and depending on how long it's understaffed even overtime isn't enough time. Also, in inclement weather I think that if local law enforcement says don't go out on the roads or to stay home that your facilities should be automatically closed because you can make up numbers but you can't make up a person's life.
What I like about the company
They are willing to train people that don't have optical industry experience.
What I dislike about the company
Whether you have to follow the rules depends largely on what group you belong to. Any time there is a production issue even if it's out of your control it's your fault. If a manager or supervisor makes a bad decision they'll find a way to blame you.
