- Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (Cincinnati, OH / United States)14.Jun 2020
Everyone strives to assist in changing these children’s lives and helping them to live a life they desire. There is true passion and commitment from the employees and they truly care about the patients and other employees. It’s amazing
A registered nurse in the ICU is not easy, especially when the prevalence of death is very high.
Suggestions for improvement
- I believe and agree that all policies are fair and that the culture and environment are appropriate. I would not make any changes at this time.
What I like about the company
When I didn’t pass my nurse board exam the first time, CCHMC was there for me and supporting me every step of the way. They didn’t shun me. They gave me a second chance and helped find a way for me to make an income while allowing me free time to study so I could pass the second time. They worked with me and gave me all the resources I needed. Never left a question unanswered and took me under their wing like I had been one of their own for years
What I dislike about the company
Food discounts and food options. As nurses we work so hard and work long shifts and don’t have time to always eat when we want to and have limited options and time.
