Suggestions for improvement

  • The hospital is big and close to downtown with a lot of traffic. There are many different parking lots and several garages. The employees work different hours. There are security cars, hospital buses and security. Security and safety is a big concern of the facility. There have been enhancements recently. But you need to be aware of your surroundings and watch the traffic and cross with the lights but still be careful.

What I like about the company

They worked with me through a personal health crisis. Friendly, motivated and profession staff to work and interact with across the hospital. Great benefits and some good changes concerning PTO accumulation per hours worked and usage of PTO. Also positive wage changes due to an upcoming $15 minimum wage across all positions. Recently, amount of bereavement per family association has been increased. Great insurance program and other related perks and choices. Best overall facility I have been employed with.

What I dislike about the company

Not sure how wages of the various positions relate with other hospitals in the area. As I mentioned there have been some positive changes recently. One involving my area with a cost of living like increase.
