They make you feel insignificant. Supervisors share your personal issues and cant keep their mouths shut.
Support from management
2/ 7 supervisors do their jobs. The others just talk all day with each other and Team leads act like they do everything. They come in everyday have to call maybe 10 people a day and are off the phones the rest of the day. If you have a question forget about it. Because the supervisors and team leads get unlimited break time dont expect them to not abuse it. But they will sit at there desks and monitor yours. I have seen more people fired for break time than any company i have ever seen. Managers/ team leads should lead by example.
Your are assigned teams and if your supervisor doesn't like you everyone will know about it and wont hesitate to do everything possible to get your terminated. Its a team based effort to hit the overall goal yet everyone is out for themselves.
Freedom to work independently
You are micro managed your entire shift depending on the supervisor. Some are more laid back giving you a chance to work others will sit literally , sit behind you and read emails between you and other co workers and act like they have the right to monitor you. ANYONE could do their job in a heart beat. If you can lie and force overtime on people and give ultimatums you could do their job.
Managers will never go anywhere. Team leads get rotated from team to team. Your best bet it being a Mentor which basically trains new hires out of training and they listen to calls and you listen to them. Other than that there is no advancement which is the focus at navient to keep empoyees. The turn around rate is terrible. I was on a team with a terrible supervisor. The month i left 7 left on his team and 16+ for a full year. You would think upper management would catch on to him but nope hes still there.
Overall compensation for your work
You can make 30-55k EASILY as long as you put in the overtime and resolve delinquent accounts fast. The bonus structure is good yet your hourly is one of the lowest in the area. They raised their wages a year ago do the people who were there prior to new hires did not get a raise. So people just starting are making more the people who have been there for 2 years.
Office / Work Environment
The environment is great for the first 3 months. After a while its not the people your on the phones with its 100% management and the way they treat employees. if you get a person on the phone requeating a supervisor just ask the to call back because the manager you get will have an attitude with you jist for asking. Which is REQUIRED.
Good for 3 months.
Your given make your own schedule (myos) in collections. Only if targets are hit and your get 40 hours in from saturday- friday. Seems great but any meeting you have is required for attendance and it is frowned upon if you leave afterwards.
Ita navient. Enough said.
If you put your head down and dont get too close to anyone this place is great. Calls are monitored and checked for errors. So if yiu can do that much you can make a lot of money i lasted about 4 years and made 43000-52000 yearly.
Clean bathrooms are the only thing positive!
I like a challenge but to me just starting its overwhelming. Anything in training forget the 5 week process. Just learn enough and write down everything to pass open book tests. You will learn everything you need to know when you hit the main floor because the trainors voice. Dont get me started...

- Respect employees who have dedicated their time to help the company in the positive direction their trying to accomplish. Agents are there for money not to please managers.

Break time policys. Everyone should have the same equality.
Management does nothing and wait till the day of a deadline to do anything. We are then instructed to seek help elsewhere so they can do their work when they had 20 days during the month to do so
