What I dislike about the company
Work schedules seem unfair. Employees are scheduled to close and then open the next day when this is not necessary to do. Favoritism or simply taking advantage of the new guy causes some employees to be scheduled to close three or more nights a weeks while others don’t close at all despite being available. Lack of teamwork amongst employees, everyone tends to only stick in their own area and not offering to help someone else who may be struggling on their own. Although management seems happy enough (at least, they do when they’re in front of the associates) but associates are very negative about their coworkers and management. Consider boosting morale by speaking with associates to find out what it is that the company can change to boost morale.
