Suggestions for improvement
- *Get training on communication and open the lines of communication. *Get an office administrator and take the HR lady out of that loop completely. Great lady but she abuses power she shouldn't have. *Totally stop the micro-managing. *Listen to the employees. They have a lot of good ideas. *Have more faith and learn to trust all of your employees not just certain ones. When you start having problems with a long term employee, talk to them to find out why. Don't just take someone else's word for what may or may not be going on. *Remember that some employees, no matter who they are, may not be as loyal as you think they are. *Bring back all paid holidays, etc., for all employees.
What I like about the company
I liked that if I needed to be off for some reason, I could as long as it didn't interfere with someone else.
What I dislike about the company
No communication. No trust. Way to much micromanaging-had to do it a certain person's way or else. If you were a woman nothing you said was taken seriously. It was as if you had no brain. This is a family owned company. If not a family member, or a mindless robot, you don't stand a chance to be there long.
