This company has been downsized multiple times and additional duties are assigned to employees who need to be recognized and rewarded for taking on the amount of work assigned. Leadership should serve each personnel issue with confidentiality that is brought to their attention. This is not being done and employees feel they can't go to management without other people in the workplace knowing sensitive information.
Support from management
Unprofessional leadership skills from some of the managers when dealing with personnel issues. Both new and established employees do not receive a lot of direction in job functions and are given multiple tasks by leadership without any guidance/training. Many managers should lead by a professional example for the associate's which would improve poor communication. Instead of sending emails back and forth between leadership and employees management should work closely with the employee on any issues that arise.
Employees should strive for a positive support system and work together as a team.
Office / Work Environment
Many renovations have happened in the company when it was reduced to a smaller business. Computers should be up to date with firewall security due to PHI and this is not being done. Managers and employees are in a small environment and all should refrain from yelling and using profanity. If there are conversations going on around you, it's extremely difficult to focus on tasks and also handle customer service inquiries over the telephone.
Company name and ownership has changed multiple times in a short period which has resulted in lay offs, high turnover of both employees and customers.
Hazardous working conditions due to the other companies that are in the same space and lack of training on safety in the workplace. Work stations, outside and main entrance, along with the restrooms should be clutter free and sanitized frequently.
