Support from management
Most Leaders are great to work with, but specifically 2 of them (who I shall not name) are horrible
Given the small size of the team, working in teams is required
Freedom to work independently
No autonomy. Head of the company dictates everything, right or wrong
None. Head of company calls all the shots
Attitude towards older colleagues
Dominated by older colleagues so this is not an issue at NL
If you kiss booty or work yourself 24/7 you may have a shot. Alternatively, you can always wait for the next guy to quit
Overall compensation for your work
Company does not follow thru on their commitments and has been taken to court several times
Office / Work Environment
None. Calculate your hourly wage and you will find you could work OT at McDonalds and make more
Smoke and mirrors. Not taken seriously by the industry
None. Revolving door. Check Linkedin for the wreckage of the talent that has passed thru this place
Aside from the head of the company screaming and intimidating everyone, not an issue
It's a challenge to work at Netlist in any constructive manner. Those with good ideas are steam rolled.
Inclusive / Diverse
If you are Korean, you are in like flint. If you are Asian, you get consideration. If you are Anglo, forget it
Suggestions for improvement
- Fire top management then focus on the margin. Give up these silly lawsuits and own up to the fact that Salespeople are horrible at running companies.
What I like about the company
Some good souls worked there and we banded together to support each other against the daily rants of certain leaders within the company.
What I dislike about the company
Just about everything. Constantly pressured to deliver on pipe dreams. Constant turnover. Constant turmoil caused by leadership. People pushed to the emotional brink due to illogical rantings by certain leaders within the company. Concern about being caught up in unethical decisions.
