Suggestions for improvement
- Do more to integrate your new acquisitions. Stop talking in acronyms and rah rah sports jargon and start speaking like adults. Start treating your support departments with respect. Stop focusing on "big logo" companies that add to your prestige but end up a net loss for the company.
What I like about the company
Prior to being acquired by Merkle, New Control was a constantly growing company. It wasn't without it's problems, but there was good energy and very talented people.
What I dislike about the company
The greater Merkle organization doesn't understand the skills and strengths of New Control. They've had a flattening effect and have driven some of the best people out of there. I was assigned to a series of remote managers who were much more than just geographically remote. After a year of being ignored, shuffled around and managed out the door, I left. It was the best decision I ever made.
