Are you a Current or Former Employee? Current employee
I like about the employer
If you are a low time pilot who wants to build hours flying to interesting places and gaining tremendous experience in well maintained planes, then this is a great place to do it. You can fly over 200 hours between June and August.
I dislike about the employer
It pays okay but it isn't great. Most of the flying is in the summer and VFR only, which can be challenging when the weather is marginal. You usually don't know when you will be working until the day before. Not a place to build multi engine time unless you already have a bunch of multi time. Multi engine planes are extremely loud and hot and used primarily for hourly round trips to Block Island, which is a 10 minute flight. People have been there over 15 years and still don't have a full time, year round position.
