1950's IBM with gradeschool infighting in the management levels
Support from management
There were individuals who where good reasoning managers who were blocked from doing their jobs well by horrendous middle and upper management
The team level was massively collaborative and other teams would do whatever they could to help.
There was a lot of whining by middle management about performance of groups that were 50% staffed or less. You knew a lot about the state of things but as the company grew the staff shrunk.
Women were at every level and advanced the same or better then men.
Attitude towards older colleagues
No noticeable disparity between older and younger treatment
Were opposed to additional training on anything that could make you more valuable.
Overall compensation for your work
Paid medium but gave super poor raises across the board. 3% was good 4% was amazing 5% was rare.
Office / Work Environment
Screaming, swearing by management in an abusive manner at employees, threats to fire all the time.
Didn't use much paper and recycled even in the break room.
This depends on how severe. Major medical situations they handled with excellence. Some personnel received all kinds of accommodations regardless of their performance and top performers were frequently treated like dirt and given little or no leaway as they were needed to badly.
The software helped people and you could tell it did.
They have been bought out by Tyler Technology and the Michigan division has had tons of termoil since then.
Elevators ramps proper bathroom amenities (rails etc)
Nothing unusual physically very safe.
Inclusive / Diverse
