Suggestions for improvement

  • Many of us are working parents, so a daycare in campus will be perfect, but they are afraid of liability. Actually employees will work more and less stress if we will have this benefit.

What I like about the company

I work in this company since 2008 and I have been promoted 3 times. Yearly performance reviews are very important. NYL Direct helped me to get my AS in Computer Information Technology. I have a manager that let me grow with the company and new ideas are always well received. We have diversity and inclusion at the workplace. Benefits are great like 401K and life insurance.

What I dislike about the company

Even though my manager is open to new ideas, senior leaders sometimes don't like change and it is difficult to go through many layers of CVPs to reach the main office in New York City.
