Seen the news lately? Still a boys club, only making changes from bad but true press.
Support from management
Managers are only out for themselves, while they promote a "team" attitude, its all about them.
Very little here, everyone is out for their next promotion.
Left hand doesn't communicate with the right hand.
Still very much a boys club, sadly though there are female managers who are horrible as they will lead by fear and intimidation.
Attitude towards older colleagues
They are steadily weeding us out, already happened to me.
You must make your own path here, the matrix is dead.
Overall compensation for your work
They pay below the industry average knowing people want to work there just for sake of their name.
Just doing the minimum again they serve Wall Street
This preached, however not the case.
The product has gone downhill and fast, they focus on shareholders and stakeholders.
None, NIKE is a company.....again they serve Wall Street and have let good people go for the sake of their stock.
More than what you will be paid to do.
Inclusive / Diverse
Still behind the times, only trying to solve for it now due to recent press articles.
Suggestions for improvement
- They need a total overhaul of their HR/ER depts. and be it known that there was no coincidence in laying people off before they reached their earned sabbaticals.
What I like about the company
Not much, product is not what it used to be.
What I dislike about the company
The need to practice what they preach.
