Absolutely not. It was one person, but she bullied people into agreeing with her.
Support from management
Immediate supervisor (EVP of production) was great but once the new president took over, all decisions were left up to her.
Most of us work together very well, but there were people from the other company that didn't want he "originals" involved .
Freedom to work independently
The workload was for 5 people. They continued to lay off telling me that they would get someone.
No communication at all.
Mostly women at this company so there's really no comparison.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Haven't noticed much on this.
Before the new president took over, the company offered all of this. No more.
Overall compensation for your work
Yes to all of these but there's a price you pay for it. You have to decide what is more important.
This was all fair because hey had to follow the proper guidelines.
My vacations were cancelled and we were working until midnight at times just to get everything processed because they were trying to save a buck.
No one talks positively about this company. Not even the CEO now. He's a nice guy but he doesn't want to deal with the president now.
They are always restructuring so I knew that I would be laid off eventually.
Elevators yes, but once you're on the floor, you can't move due to all of the fabric and boxes.
They comply but no training was involved.
I was absolutely proud but it took forever to complete a task because of the daily changes.

What I like about the company
When this company was The Jones Group, they were known for their quality and work ethics which was reflected off the employees. They stood for People, Product and Resilience. They were very much involved with family and benefits. It made me want to work harder each year. They listened to suggestions.
What I dislike about the company
The president is the main issue. She has been president of the moderate brands which is totally different from better brands. She didn't want to hear about it so In turn, she lost a lot of business.
