Terrible. Employees breaking rules around you and management does nothing.
Support from management
Worst leadership I have ever encountered in 20+ years.
No teamwork, no support from upper management.
Freedom to work independently
Good at your job? They'll keep adding to your workload while others do very little or nothing.
You won't equality here. Not by race, gender, or any other category.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Offer early retirement packages to try and get older employees out.
Won't find that here. Sorry.
Overall compensation for your work
Workers complain a lot about pay, but health insurance is good. Only get paid once a month if you're on salary, though.
Office / Work Environment
Out of date software systems and computers.
Suggested a paper recycling program and they declined saying it wasn't cost effective for the company.
Salaried? Your forced to work 10 hours a day, whether or not there is work to do. Yep - just sit there and twiddle your thumbs like a good peon.
Look at Glassdoor - a lot of former employees have sad negative things about this company. I wonder why...
Wouldn't allow a disabled worker to park closer to the door.
Only started to comply with OSHA standards when complaints were threatened and filed.
It's freight forwarding, not brain surgery.
Suggestions for improvement
- A complete house cleaning of management and massive turnover in personnel.
What I like about the company
Good health insurance. Other than that, nothing.
What I dislike about the company
Everything and anything. Worst place I have worked in 20+ years. I hated getting up and going into work every day. This place makes people miserable.
